Canadian producer and Rhombus imprint co-owner Stefan Zlatarits aka Stefan Z has been surrounded by music his entire life. A strange combination of listening to his fathers Vangelis tapes as a young child in Toronto and playing piano as well as trumpet in the jazz band throughout his high school life have both contributed to his current output of music.
Currently based in Berlin Germany, Stefan has firmly established himself in the underground house and techno scene. His debut EP on MFR 'No Words' garnered big support from all the major players such as Mano Le Tough, Solomun and Sasha to name a select few as well as topping beatport, Resident Advisor and de:bug charts. His all night Rhombus parties in Vancouver have exposed many in the city to new underground sounds
and the labels releases continue to be supported by staples in the underground community.
